Elements of Nature, are everywhere in our walk with life and where oxygen supports life-form on planet earth, you’ll find a deep wellspring of natures elements in constant flux. Thanks to the bountiful sun and vast oceans of water, life has flourished and sustains itself in many different life forms.
In classical western metaphysiology, the four elements in the universe are formed by earth, air, fire and water. These are the outward manifestations of the true elements. Each of the four elements contain their own unique properties, which work simultaneously to create one united universe.
The Chinese however, have a different series of elements, namely fire, earth, metal, water and wood, which were understood as different types of energy in a state of constant flux with one another, rather than the western notion of different kinds of material. Irrespective of our metaphysical belief, physical and ontological properties that embody elements of nature are incorporated into our design, perhaps not as a literal translation, but an abstract mannerism.
Our design philosophy, embodies “Elements of nature” as an innate source material to enrich our design coherency and scope of understanding. Nature, serves as a reminder to enlighten and “Awaken the Eye” to see not only at the surface, but to search much deeper into subject matter. “When it comes, it comes as a revelation, something we are unable to describe but only recognise it when it appears”
